Explosion Proof Motors
Motors for use in potentially explosive atmospheres for presence of gas or vapours and combustible dust manufactured in compliance with the European Standards EN50014, EN 50018 and EN 50281-1-1 for the Modular motor by utilisation of feet and flanges upon the same motor body giving B3, B14, B5 and B35 or B34 mounting options. This permits to reduce the stock options hence costs and make field changements possible with easy and importantly without affecting certification. The terminal box can be placed on the top of the motor or on the sides, and the position of the cables gland entry points can be rotated through 360 degrees.
