High quality and reliability are shown by a system of 4,35 tonne screwjacks replacing hydraulic drives on a lifting platform. Each pair of jacks are controlled by a flux vector inverter, via a motor with force vent cooling and encoding feedback. The complete assembly of geared motor unit, anti backlash couplings and jacks mounted on a base plate are shown.
